I wanted to say that I loved all the photos in your gallery. You have such a way of catching the character and spirit of an animal on film. Each and every one of those animals is beautiful.

It was so simple! It wasn't intended to make huge amounts of money but it was for spreading the word, getting some support from the local communities, and having a day to get to know each other. We cover an entire county and in a month we are going to hold another one on the other end of the county. This way we can include everyone to show that they are included in our coverage area. Hopefully that one will go as well or better than this one did. If you hear, see, or come up with any other great ideas - please share them.

Just as a quick couple week preparation fundraiser we did the following. We planned for 250 people, got all the supplies donated (hot dogs, buns, chips, pop, water, and the condiments) and had a free will donation hot dog feed. We held it on a Saturday from 11 to 2 and we had so much fun. It was the board, volunteers, and staff all together. We had 16 hot dogs left, raised $800 plus dollars, and adopted out 6 animals. It was fun and we had a lot of traffic that day to even view the animals.
