For the Love of Pets was established in 2005 (a 501 c) , though I have been in rescue for decades.  The homes that I look for to adopt my rescues must be special homes where the rescue is a valued family member.

My dogs are not crated or penned.  They have large 1/2 acre or 1 acre yards and dog doors where they can come and go at will. ALL are fed premium diets and are  groomed weekly, ears powdered, and teeth brushed.  Every 3 weeks, their nails are trimmed.

My animals are placed all over the country and I ask that I receive updates on my pups for their lifetime.  As you can imagine, I receive WONDERFUL stories and pictures of them. Should circumstances change, they must be returned to me.

All my rescues have been microchipped and have rabies, Bordetella, DHLPP (for dogs), and are wormed appropriately. They are as ready as I can make them before adoption.
