I received this email...can ANYONE help!!!!

Hello,
I am a volunteer with Catawba County, NC in Newton, NC.

THIS IS AN EMERGENCY!!!!

This pregnant pitty was found as a stray with an embedded rope tied around her neck. She had to be sedated to have the rope removed. She is such a sweet dog and deserves to have her puppies and give all of them a chance at life. I had a rescue who had agreed to take her and she was going to be pulled this weekend. HOWEVER, they called today and no longer can take her. I HAVE to get a 501c3 rescue to commit to taking her by this Saturday, 10/3/09, or she and her unborn puppies will be euthanized. I WILL PULL HER FOR YOU AND KEEP HER FOR 1-2 WEEKS UNTIL TRANSPORT CAN BE ARRANGED!! The puppies are due to be born any day now.
